Tiffany’s interest in yoga began shortly after she obtained her Masters of Science degree in Psychology/Counseling in 2000. Always intrigued and influenced by philosophy and psychology, she began looking for a deeper understanding of the human psyche and in her own quest for meaning within her life. She started practicing in a Bikram Studio in California and learning about the 26 postures involved with the practice. As her postures improved, she began an interest in Power yoga and has continued to enjoy the challenge, insight and mental clarity that comes from each practice. She has found that the time she takes for her active meditation and proper breathing techniques is what truly heals her from the inside out and it became a strong desire of her’s to become a certified yoga instructor in order to share those gifts to others. Tiffany feels that yoga literally saved her life, as she discovered it after her mom passed away in 2000. She credits yoga for helping to heal her, helping her to deal with the grief and to help change her perception of the world and turn her attitude to true gratitude. She feels blessed to be a part of something so wonderful and she hopes you will take time to honor your body and find out if Yoga is life changing for you too!
