Jen took her first yoga class in college and quickly learned that this was a necessary new addition to her life, immediately found and signed up with the local Bikram studio. The mental focus and physical flexibility greatly elevated her racing with Oregon Crew. Over the years she has practiced several styles in addition to Bikram including of Hatha, Power Vinyasa, and Yin. Yoga has helped her work through several athletic injuries by creating a safe and effective setting to work on the balance of strong endurance and calm focus. Being a former rower, Fitness Coach, and Personal Trainer, Jen incorporates the physical and mental benefits of yoga with her athletes any time she can. She has loved the sense of community Get Zen has provided as she gets to know the PNW. She hopes to create a joyous and energetic atmosphere in class to spread the power, confidence, and courage she has found through Yoga to others.
